【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcovershowtomeasuretheapparentviscosityofusedandsoot-containingengineoilsatlowtemperatures.1.2Ashearrateofapproximately0.2s-1isproducedatshearstressesbelow200Pa.Apparentviscosityismeasuredcontinuouslyasthesampleiscooledatarateof3Cperhourovertherangeof5to40C.1.3Themeasurementsresultingfromthistestmethodareviscosity,themaximumrateofviscosityincrease(GelationIndex)andthetemperatureatwhichtheGelationIndexoccurs.1.4Applicabilitytopetroleumproductsotherthanengineoilshasnotbeendeterminedinpreparingthistestmethod.1.5ThevaluesstatesinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
