【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodfordeterminingthecompressivepropertiesofplasticsunderdefinedconditions.Astandardtestspecimenisdefinedbutitslengthmaybeadjustedtopreventbucklingunderloadfromaffectingtheresults.Arangeoftestspeedsisincluded.Themethodisusedtoinvestigatethecompressivebehaviourofthetestspecimensandfordeterminingthecompressivestrength,compressivemodulusandotheraspectsofthecompressivestress/strainrelationshipundertheconditionsdefined.Themethodappliestothefollowingrangeofmaterials:—rigidandsemi-rigid!1]thermoplasticmouldingandextrusionmaterials,includingcompoundsfilledandreinforcedbye.g.shortfibres,smallrods,platesorgranulesinadditiontounfilledtypes;rigidandsemi-rigidthermoplasticsheet;—rigidandsemi-rigidthermosetmouldingmaterials,includingfilledandreinforcedcompounds;rigidandsemi-rigidthermosetsheet;—thermotropicliquid-crystalpolymers.InagreementwithIS010350-1andIS010350-2,thisInternationalStandardappliestofibre-reinforcedcompoundswithfibrelengths≤7,5mmpriortoprocessing.Themethodisnotnormallysuitableforusewithmaterialsreinforcedbytextilefibres(seereferences[2]and[5]),fibre-reinforcedplasticcompositesandlaminates(see[5]),rigidcellularmaterials(see[3])orsandwichstructurescontainingcellularmaterialorrubber(see[4]).Themethodisperformedusingspecimenswhichmaybemouldedtothechosendimensions,machinedfromthecentralportionofastandardmultipurposetestspecimen(seeISO3167)ormachinedfromfinishedorsemi-finishedproductssuchasmouldingsorextrudedorcastsheet.Themethodspecifiespreferreddimensionsforthetestspecimen.Testswhicharecarriedoutonspecimensofdifferentdimensions,oronspecimenswhicharepreparedunderdifferentconditions,mayproduceresultswhicharenotcomparable.Otherfactors,suchasthetestspeedandtheconditioningofthespecimens,canalsoinfluencetheresults.Consequently,whencomparabledataarerequired,thesefactorsmustbecarefullycontrolledandrecorded.
