适用范围
本标准规定了压水堆仪表及其应用的一般原则。关于核电厂(压水堆)事故监测仪表的完整要求，另有标准规定。本标准适用于压水堆（ＰＷＲ）仪表。压水堆具有以下特点：a.加压轻水冷却剂作为慢化剂，并且在反应堆压力容器内不发生明显的沸腾。驱动汽轮机的蒸汽在蒸汽发生器中产生；b.燃料和一次冷却剂被包容在一个高度完整的壳体（一回路冷却剂压力边界）内，这壳体通常又被包容在一个高度完整的完全壳结构内；c.固体陶瓷燃料封装在金属包壳内；d.燃料、慢化剂、反射层的几何形状固定；e.通过远距离驱动的机构移动堆芯控制部件，实现反应性的操作控制；f.有时应用固定安置的中子吸收材料和(或)缓慢改变溶解于慢化剂中中子吸收材料的浓度来实现辅助的反应性操作控制。
