【摘要】:ThisclauseofPart1isreplacedbythefollowing.ThisInternationalStandarddealswiththesafetyofelectricoralhygieneappliancesforhouseholdandsimilarpurposes,theirratedvoltagebeingnotmorethan250V.NOTE101Examplesofappliancescoveredbythisstandardare-oralirrigators;-toothbrushes.ASfarasispracticable,thisstandarddealswiththecommonhazardspresentedbyappliancesthatareencounteredbyallpersonsinandaroundthehome.However,ingeneral,itdoesnottakeintoaccount-persons(includingchildren)whose~physical,sensoryormentalcapabilities;or~lackofexperienceandknowledgepreventsthemfromusingtheappliancesafelywithoutsupervisionorinstruction;-childrenplayingwiththeappliance.NOTE102Attentionisdrawntothefactthat-forappliancesintendedtobeusedinvehiclesoronboardshipsoraircraft,additionalrequirementsmaybenecessary;-inmanycountriesadditionalrequirementsarespecifiedbythenationalhealthauthorities,thenationalauthoritiesresponsiblefortheprotectionoftabourandsimilarauthorities.NOTE103Thisstandarddoesnotapplytoappliancesformedicalpurposes(IEC60601).
