【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversproceduresforthedeterminationofvaporpressure(seeNote0)ofgasoline,volatilecrudeoil,andothervolatilepetroleumproducts.ProcedureAisapplicabletogasolineandotherpetroleumproductswithavaporpressureoflessthan180kPa(26psi).ProcedureBmayalsobeapplicabletotheseothermaterials,butonlygasolinewasincludedintheinterlaboratorytestprogramtodeterminetheprecisionofthistestmethod.ProcedureCisformaterialswithavaporpressureofgreaterthan180kPa(26psi).ProcedureDforaviationgasolinewithavaporpressureofapproximately50kPa(7psi).Note0Becausetheexternalatmosphericpressureiscounteractedbytheatmosphericpressureinitiallypresentinthevaporchamber,theReidvaporpressureisanabsolutepressureat37.8?C(100?F)inkilopascals(pounds-forcepersquareinch).TheReidvaporpressurediffersfromthetruevaporpressureofthesampleduetosomesmallsamplevaporizationandthepresenceofwatervaporandairintheconfinedspace.Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletoliquefiedpetroleumgasesorfuelscontainingoxygenatedcompoundsotherthanmethylt-butylether(MTBE).Fordeterminationofthevaporpressureofliquefiedpetroleumgases,refertoTestMethodD1267orTestMethodD6897.Fordeterminationofthevaporpressureofgasoline-oxygenateblends,refertoTestMethodD4953.Theprecisionforcrudeoilhasnotbeendeterminedsincetheearly1950s(seeNote0).TestMethodD6377hasbeenapprovedasamethodfordeterminationofvaporpressureofcrudeoil.IP481isatestmethodfordeterminationoftheair-saturatedvaporpressureofcrudeoil.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificwarningstatementsaregiveninSectionsand,and,,,,,and.
