【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesatestmethodandtheminimumrequirementsforbactericidalactivityofchemicaldisinfectantproductsthatformahomogeneous,physicallystablepreparationwhendilutedwithhardwater–orinthecaseofready-to-useproducts–withwater.ThisEuropeanStandardappliestoproductsthatareusedinthemedicalareafordisinfectinginstrumentsbyimmersion–eveniftheyarenotcoveredbytheEEC/93/42DirectiveonMedicalDevices.ThisEuropeanStandardappliestoareasandsituationswheredisinfectionismedicallyindicated.Suchindicationsoccurinpatientcare,forexample:?inhospitals,incommunitymedicalfacilitiesandindentalinstitutions;?inclinicsofschools,ofkindergardensandofnursinghomes;?andmayoccurintheworkplaceandinthehome.Itmayalsoincludeservicessuchaslaundriesandkitchenssupplyingproductsdirectlyforthepatients.NOTEThismethodcorrespondstoaphase2,step2test(seeAnnexE).
