【摘要】:Thisreportpresentsanddescribesameansofidentifyingwhereneworrevisedmanufacturingstandardsmayberequired.ItestablishesaReferenceModelforShopFloorProduction,whichisthenusedasthebasisfordevelopingamethodologyfortheidentificationandextractionofareasforstandards.TheassumptionsusedtodeveloptheReferenceModelare:·thefieldofinterestisthemanufactureofdiscretepartsandinparticulartheproduction(physicalrealisation)oftheseparts,·theReferenceModelneedstobeopen-endedsothatitcanberevisedtoincorporatenewtechnologies,and·theReferenceModelneedstobegenericinnaturesothatitcanbeappliedtoawiderangeofapplicationsandisnotdirectedtoaparticularorganisationalstructureofmanufacturing.ItisemphasisedthattheReferenceModel:·providesaconceptualframeworkforunderstandingdiscretepartsmanufacturingand·canbeusedtoidentifyareasofstandardsnecessarytointegratemanufacturingsystems.TheReferenceModeldoesnothoweverprovideamethodologyfordesigning,implementing,operatingandmaintaininganyexistingorfuturemanufacturingautomationsystem.TheremaybeaneedtodevelopotherReferenceModelswhichcanbeusedforthosepurposes,perhapsbasedontheworkdescribedinthisreport.Thedevelopmentofsuchmodelsisbeyondthescopeofthistechnicalreport.
